over twenty-five years, Landseer
has
produced a wide range of quality programmes for national and international
networks.
Formed in 1977 by key members of London Weekend Television's prestigious
network arts programme Aquarius, Landseer has specialised in arts documentaries and relays of major orchestral, opera and dance performances.
It has also produced many important social documentaries, children's
programmes, and high-quality dramas.

Landseer has regularly contributed to strands such as the
South Bank Show, Omnibus, Everyman, Bookmark,
Viewpoint, Dispatches, etc.
Landseer programmes have profiled George Abbott, Dame Peggy Ashcroft, Alan
Ayckbourn, Enid Blyton, Petula Clark, Bing Crosby, Fredric Delius, Dame Ninette de
Valois, Barry Douglas, James Galway, Sir Peter Hall, Danny Kaye, John
Lennon, Sir Kenneth Macmillan, Johnnie Ray, Dame Joan Sutherland , Natalia
Makarova, Frank Sinatra, Michael Tilson Thomas, J.R.R. Tolkien, Benjamin Zander and
Franco Zeffirelli.
